IYAD NADER is a Senior Professor at the University of King Abd Al-Aziz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Member of Nature Iraq wild mammals’ advisory team (NIMAT). The conservation of the wildlife of Iraq is my field of interest. I published many papers and field researches dealing with wild biota of Iraq, and the paper of “The newt Neurergus crocatus (Cope, 1862) in Iraq” was one of the most important contributions toward the conservation of Lake Uremia Newt in Iraq.
