KELLY J. IRWIN works at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. He grew up in northeastern Kansas, USA where he developed an avid interest in the local amphibians and reptiles. He has written or co-authored more than 75 popular articles and peer-reviewed papers on herpetology and vertebrate paleontology.
