Hossain Farasat is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Department of Biology, Razi University, KermanÂ¬shah, Iran. He earned his M.Sc. from Razi University. His present research focuses on the ecology and genetic diversity of fragmented populations of Neurergus kaiseri. His main interest is to examine whether these fragmented populations are structured by a metapopulation. He is also keen to apply his finding in conservation of this critically endangered and endemic species of Iran.
